We study the set of distinct coefficient values of the polynomials Gm(x)=∏j=2m+1(1+xPj+x2Pj), where Pj are the Pell numbers. A coefficient-pair recurrence identifies the spectra at consecutive odd and even lengths. The resulting spectrum Vk admits an exact representation by products of blocks drawn from levels of the Calkin--Wilf tree, with additive level cost. We give the bound ak≤1+A(5/3)k, where ak=∣Vk∣ includes zero and A=95367431640625/14169773449216<7. For every λ>φ, we also obtain ak=O(λk), and deduce density zero within the natural coefficient-value interval. An atomic factorization argument shows that the upper exponential growth rates of the spectrum, primitive cost layers, first block appearances, and block levels coincide in a number ρ∈[2/φ,φ]. We identify the block sets with the denominator sets of the Kepler tree, using an explicit level-preserving transformation. Finally, an exact finite certificate for 3847 disproves four precisely defined internal halving properties. Neither the existence of an ordinary growth limit nor the value of ρ is established.

Let Pn be the Pell numbers and, for ℓ≥1, let ρℓ(n) be the coefficient of xn in Gℓ(x)=∏j=2ℓ+1(1+xPj+x2Pj), that is, the number of words (d2,…,dℓ+1)∈{0,1,2}ℓ with ∑jdjPj=n. We prove that Bℓ=maxnρℓ(n)=2⌊(ℓ−1)/2⌋ for every ℓ≥1, and we determine the set Mℓ of all maximizers for every length. For odd ℓ≥3 it consists of the four integers uℓ,uℓ+2,uℓ+Pℓ+1,uℓ+Pℓ+1+2 with uℓ=(Pℓ+2−5)/2, and M1={0,2,4}. For even lengths ∣M2∣=9 and ∣M2k∣=16k−8 for k≥2; moreover M2k is the union of two explicit six-element cores and four explicit chains of two-element blocks. All proofs rest on one structural fact: when two consecutive Pell weights are adjoined, the nine shifted copies of the previous coefficient sequence overlap at most two at a time. As an application, let δ=1+2 and let νm(t) be the number of strings (dk)k=−2m2m∈{0,1,2}4m+1 with ∑kdkδk=t. We prove the exact identity νm(t)=ρ4m+1(tP2m+2) for every integer t. Consequently maxt∈Zνm(t)=4m, attained only at t=∑j=−mmδ2j=P2m+1+P2m when m≥1 and at t∈{0,1,2} when m=0, and every fibre over Z[2] in the same window contains at most 4m strings. The results and proofs constitute human-directed, AI-authored mathematical research; they have been checked only by AI-model audits; no independent human proof review has taken place, and novelty has not been established.
Let φ=(1+5)/2 and, for m≥0 and an integer t, let μm(t) be the number of subsets S⊆{−2m,…,2m} with ∑k∈Sφk=t. We prove that μm(t)=R(F2m+2t) for 0≤t≤L2m+1, where R(n) is the number of representations of n as a sum of distinct Fibonacci numbers, and that μm(t)=0 for all other integers t; the correspondence is an explicit shift of exponents, and the proof uses only the algebraic conjugation of Z[φ]. Combining this transfer with a symmetry and a forced-digit argument, we reduce the extremal problem for μm to results of Koc\'abov\'a, Mas\'akov\'a and Pelantov\'a on the maxima of R over intervals of fixed Zeckendorf length. We obtain maxt∈Zμm(t)=F2m+1 for every m≥0, and we show that for m≥2 the maximum is attained exactly at t∈{F2m,F2m+1,2F2m,F2m+2}. We compare the transfer with a theorem of Dekking and van Loon on natural base-φ expansions. The results and proofs constitute human-directed, AI-authored mathematical research. They have been checked only by AI-model audits; no independent human mathematical verification has been completed, and novelty has not been established.
